Who We Are
The Florida Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (FAHRO) was established in 1972 as an association for the exchange of information to improve low-income and affordable housing and community services.
Today, FAHRO represents more than 200 housing agencies, community development agencies, and associate members working together to ensure Florida’s citizens have access to clean, safe, and affordable housing.
Mission
FAHRO is committed to the professional development of individuals who provide public, assisted, and other affordable housing in Florida through communication, education, and collaboration.
Vision
FAHRO will continue to support legislation and initiatives that strengthen affordable housing and expand economic opportunities throughout Florida, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
